“Gefangen an einem bestimmten Ort, jedoch verschiedensten Umweltfaktoren ausgesetzt. Ein Perspektivenwechsel ins Grün, der Hoffnungsschimmer verblasst. Die naturalistische Sicht leuchtet auf in Ungeheuerlichkeiten. Geh raus, bleib drin - wann wird’s mal wieder richtig logisch?”
For the second birthday of Gallerie Kernweine in Stuttgart and the label release of 'electromenager’ I’ve got invited to contribute with an Art installation. Solution was and will always be the revival of electronic kitchen utensils through organic life forms and light.
Thanks to the whole team of GK an especially Yanni Caloghiris. You are killer!
Hosted at an art center founded around the practice of drawing, we experimented with the line as its most basic element. A simple and instinctive gesture that can take on different degrees of complexity.
The process of appropiating the space led us to experience a line without a stroke, to use paper not as support, but as material for expression in itself.

We got invited to participate as artists at the techno festival called 18/7001. The festival took place at an abandoned military barracks complex north of Berlin.
The goal was to develop a sensorial experience which stimulates the users perception. We achieved this by creating a cubic space inside one of the rooms which consisted of an outter metal construction (cage/jaula).
Spanned black latex stripes forced the user to encourage finding a way through this jungle and giving the oppurtunity to rest, stay and marvel (physical). Flooding the inner having fog exposed with red light tempting visitors to lose boundaries and allowing a feeling of infinity (visual).

Even though Plaça dels Àngels is a very lively space, its current appropriation is all but limited to skate-related activities. In truth, though, most of the people in the square are not skaters but passers-by. Indeed, most people use the square as a short-cut, crossing it quickly and seldom staying for longer than is strictly necessary. This continuous flow of people does not result in a richly activated social space, but turns it into an urban thoroughfare. A proposal prompting people to slow down, stop, and stay in the square would be a first necessary step toward turning Plaça dels Àngels into a rich and diverse social hub. Hence, the name of our project.
The project consists of organizing a set of 18 table-high stages (2x1 m rectangular platforms) into four different spatio-acoustic choreographies, which are referred to as ‘acts’. Each act will last three hours, with a fifteen minute interval to perform the shift of the stages, which will be completed by MEATS. Each of these acts is related to one square in Barcelona and its public appropriation researched in the ‘A la Plaça’ project through soundscapes (e.g., sounds of children playing in Plaça de Sant Felip Neri). Throughout the acts and their shifts, there will be sound intervals of four relatable Barcelona squares playing in the background in order to generate alternative atmospheres that help to imagine more possibilities for Plaça dels Àngels than that of being solely a skate spot.
The following documents show different options that we studied regarding the infrastructural transformation of the square and consequently our assessment and selection of the final transformation. Choreo-plans show the arrangements of the table-stages and how they should be set up, while an illustrative visualisation for each act shows a possible atmosphere in this open-ended intervention. Finally, a time-based score summarizes soundscapes, infrastructural transformations, actual and expected public appropriation in Plaça dels Àngels.

Cervezas Alhambra celebrates ‘Time’ as the essential ingredient of their beer production, but also as our sixth sense through which we experience a stronger perception of the other five senses. Thinking in the context of this manifesto, we arrived at the idea for our Pop-up installation.
At Monumental Club – a festival for live music, a market, bars and street food – we created a space for a moment to escape the ‘noise’ through a ‘Pause Space ( [ ] Space) – a space that wants you to stop, pause, see and feel.
Through another perspective we created a space to discover and appreciate this moment of time. Just like the festival has got something for everyone, this installation was something everyone could enjoy.

When he opens his eyes and sees the light
You make him cry out. Saying
O Blue come forth
O Blue arise
O Blue ascend
O Blue come in

In a world where a large majority of the population lives and works in cities, the role and responsibilities of them are bigger every day. Perhaps more aware of global interdependencies, often more open and progressive than nations, they start to connect, to talk in synergy about the great challenges of our planet. In same time, are constantly growing and citizens are henceforth in front of giant administrations, hard to afford. In this prospect, Civic city decide to focus on the "public space", like a new type of proximity common area, during the year 2017/2018.

For the Modafad Fashion Awards 2018 we were asked to enrich the spatial structure of the Design Hub.
Our concept included creating 2 regular square matrixes using the same type of balloons (black modelling balloons of 15x116 cm) and following the same constructive system to generate 2 atmospheres. These matrixes were related to their specific location according to the forces that came with the area.
The way to achieve these atmospheres was slightly changing the way of placing the balloons and making them react to the different forces. Playing with colored surfaces and balloons, inflated with helium or air, we dealed with inverted gravity.

In the heart of Munich near the Stachus a new Spa shall be built to relax the citizens.
My draft is influenced by japanese onsen culture and traditional villa architecture (sukiya style) and is transfered into a modern architectural language.
The combination of traditional aspects and modernism allows the bather to experience seclusion and achieve placidity amidst the pulsing city.
Visitors are surrounded by a „bamboo forrest“ which insulates from the city and let them focus on the smoothly ascending ramps which lead into different atmospheric bathrooms.
Enter the cliff and marvel!
My draft for the whale watching point in pico focuses on the visual senses in 2 different levels. The visitior has the oppurtunity watching the whales from far above or goin deep down under sea level to be face to face with those stunning animals.
At the nature reserve „Federsee“ in the south of germany a extension shall be planned for the consisting museum of Walter Lehmbruck
My draft is based on the idea to relocate the permanent exhibition in a spatial structure which allows the visitor to ingest complex topics much easier.
This should be achieved by a small scale development. Small concrete cubes float on the same level as the old museum. The interior of the cubes is formed by the consequence of light and height.
The existing museum will be used for temporary exhibitions and meuseum pedagogics. Heartpiece is the old garden in the middle that functions as a new light floaded audience hall.
The intersection of the Red River and the Assiniboine River has
become a popular gathering point for locals and tourists over the
years. In winter due to extreme temperature drops the site requires
applyable solutions to face difficult climate. This raises the
question wether such enviromental conditions could be faced by
changing the surrounding perception.
By introducing visual layers we are able to achieve a sensorial experience
of warmth without using standard heating and isolation
systems.
Our intent is to evoke the sensation of a colorific trip through
steam, colour and layering.
A figurative red cut in the ice surrounded by a 4 meters scaffolding
structure will be illuminated therefore giving the idea of a
centred heating core. The structure merges with the surroundings
through wrapping different layers of translucent foil revealing only
blurry silhouettes on the surface.
At irregular intervals fog will be spread from underneath the access
ramp allowing the visitors a deeper immersive hunch.
We wish you a bloody christmas!

As a society, we need to continue to encourage people to go beyond stereotypes and recognize the contributions that each individual, male or female, can make to the workplace.
Surveys of women and LGBTQ workers in the construction industry (including engineers, architects, and specialty trades) consistently show that these employees are frequently targeted with harassment and discrimination by their co-workers.
Especially in Amsterdam, due to the flourishing prostitution business women are often objectified and used by man for selfish causes.
Our installation shall raise awareness that gender inequity is still one of the biggest problems in our society.
By approaching the passage underneath the Torontobrug the visitor gets warned by a construction sign which is placed before the entrance.
Flickering lights, scratching sounds and smoke coming from the passage shall raise the danger but also the curiosity to see whats happening.
Entering the underpass you will find a rectangular box which follows the wall from the beginning until the end.
White lights keep moving randomly in the fog flooded box causing nervousness but also to keep the attention. A sudden stop!
The lights pause at two poles and the situation changes.
Silhouettes of women working appear in warm red light.
